In honor of my fellow Blues fan and friend BluesFan44 and his sick and twisted sense of humo(u)r.......

The Blues marketing has given us Blue Note Code #1 - Whatever it Takes.

I give you the other (9) Blue Note Codes that will be coming to a billboard near you:

Blue Note Code #2 - We will take no shot before it's time.

Blue Note Code #3 - You say Power Play, we say Cycling Drill.

Blue Note Code #4 - Eric Brewer logs more ice time and rates out higher on our game evaluations than any other player and plays night in and night out against the other team's top lines. Plus/Minus is an incomplete statistic and doesn't always tell the whole story.

Blue Note Code #5 - Eric Brewer's play has greatly improved as evidenced by his Plus +6 rating in the last three games.

Blue Note Code #6 - Repeat Blue Note Code #4 when You-Know-Who's play goes back to normal.

Blue Note Code #7 - Despite the rumors, there are no trades in the works involving the St. Louis Blues. I just got off the phone with a high ranking Blues official.

Blue Note Code #8 - When you are asked to play against the opposition's top line and you play for a team that doesn't score very often, chances are you won't have a very good Plus/Minus.

Blue Note Code #9 - Petr Cajanek has cleared waivers.

Blue Note Code #10 - Andy Murray's job is safe.

when you score one goal a game it is the correct move to waive a guy who can score about 50pt.s so you can play ryan johnson on the second line.
