Here is the situation.
The powers that be have decided to suspend our game while they decide exactly how to divvy up OUR money. And we have been called the "Greatest fans in the world" for putting up with this garbage...again.
The only way these bozos will get the message is when we stop buying the product.
I'm appealing to Canadian hockey fans to boycott the product.
Now I imagine this will be a difficult proposition for Cannucks fans seeing as the team is expected to do well...you're excused. The Oilers are an exciting young team and they are on the verge of breaking out...you're excused. Winnipeg fans just got the product back...you're excused.
Calgary fans, your team is garbage. Toronto fans, you have no reason to watch hockey for the next few years. Montreal fans, this ain't the year. Take two years off. Don't watch the game at the NHL level. Do not subscribe to the Centre Ice Package. Do NOT buy merchandise. If it's a percentage is what they are fighting over, let's lower the total number. It is the ONLY way your voice will be heard. If you keep buying the product, they will continue to abuse you (am I right Leaf fans?)
I personally will take in the occasional junior game in Oshawa and perhaps the odd Bulldog game to fill the void.
I will see everyone in two years.

I will not be buying any tickets or merch for the next at least season as a boycott. I will still watch on TV as they have already got that money locked up from the tv network anyway...but no merch or tickets for this HABS fan.

Fans are in general STUPID They want to give big money to the players and are foolish enough to spend their hard earned money on a bunch of spoiled greedy idiots. As long as you are stupid the league will take your money Think about it If you buy tickets and merchandise you are nothing but Dumb and Dumber
