Hockey talk in July?....only at Hockeybuzz!!!

It's the end of July and the weather is beautiful outside. The 2006/2007 NHL season ended over a month ago and we are still 5 weeks away from the start of training camp for the 2007/2008 season. This is supposed to be the "Off Season" for Hockey. You wouldnt know that if you came to Hockeybuzz.com.
I signed up to be a Season Ticket holder on this site about two weeks ago and it was the best $19.99 investment I have made in quite sometime. I have had the chance to meet and talk to some of the greatest Hockey "people" and fans from all over.
Where else can you blog or go into a Hockey chat and have an intelligent conversation about Hockey in general or our favorite teams with fans and/or people who work in this industry and have the Hockey knowledge that you cant find anywhere else?...ONLY Hockeybuzz.
What amazes me most is the respect level that we all have for eachother. As a Sabres fan, I can have a conversation with a Toronto Maple Leafs fan and not have names being thrown about like we are in 5th grade. Instead, we are discussing what players could be brought in or lines that can be made which will make our respective teams better.
Just reading all that above...What other sport is even capable of having a site like this?? I cant think of one.
Eklund gets a bad rap a lot of the time because his "rumors" dont come true. Well they are rumors and should be treated as such. Eklund reports to us what he is told and has put together this site for us to come talk about rumors and/or any other news that has happened in Hockey. For those who bash him, should be thanking him for starting this site and allowing us to share our thoughts and views no matter positive or negative.
That being said and looking on the other end of it....the negativity towards Eklund is most likely nothing against Eklund but may be another point as to why we have the most Passionate fans in the world and that we sometimes get frustrated due to the fact that we love our Hockey and we love our teams and just want whats best for them.
Hockeybuzz.com has proven to me and im sure others that Hockey is the greatest sport in the world and the passion us fans have is unparallel to those fans in any other league for any other sport.
