dude. is anyone else getting a little annoyed by the mash video panel on the index page? i am unable to stop it even during advertisement. anyone know of a good fix for keeping mash at bay? the blocking of certain cache and cookies has proved unsuccessful so far.
here at work i like to check hb about 3 or 4 times just to get a quick break (if the cigarette smokers can take 4 or 5 breaks a day at 10 minutes a shot, then so can i : ) it sucks having it slow down everything else on my computer.

It's irritating because it starts automatically at times, even if you've previously stopped it. Out of nowhere comes the mash advertisement. It appears to be a flash supported app, but there are no controls to permanently turn it off that I can find. Mash requires that you create a log-in with them (no thanks) and there's no guarantee that there will be any way to permanently turn it off. Meanwhile, outside of setting up browser to block certain content, the best I can find is to left click the vol ctrl on mash a couple of times to mute sound and/or pause playback using play button. Even so, it will start itself again at some point.
