With
Alexander Ovechkin soaking up the spotlight, and
NBC repeatedly opting out of showing
Penguin games to showcase other teams, how bad has
Sidney Crosby's injury
really been for the
NHL?
When are
Sabres fans more annoying, when the team is winning or when it's losing?
What's harder to find: a fully occupied row of seats on the
Island, or a healthy defenseman in
Vancouver?
Anyone else rooting for
Darren McCarty?
How does
Dave Jackson breathe with his head crammed up there?
wooo darren if he can do it we'll take him
1) Crosby's injury has hurt the NHL, but only to the occasional fan. If anything, the penguins are playing better hockey without him because they aren't solely relying on him.2) Always? It is like this Forsberg thing. Every sabre fan that I have read so far has said he is way overrated. Honestly? Like briere and drury.3) Cant it be both?4) maybe?5) LOL
Hilarious. Keep em coming.
I for one am totally rooting for McCarty! I remember seeing a piece on him on Inside the NHL a couple years ago that chronicalled his first return to Detroit after going to Calgary. He came off as such a genuinly nice guy and also a warrior as he could barely walk into the arena and was actually on crutches, yet played the game, fought, and had an impact on the game. Hope he makes it back, he deserves it!
I can bet you that McCarty's bookie is rooting for him! Pun intended!
Sabres fans are never annoying. What other city has 10,000 standing outside their rink during playoffs?
definately when they are winning. this site was nearly unbearable last year.
1) There are more players in the league than Crosby? I thought he was the only NHLer. Guess I was just watching every NHL commercial. I think it helped, although it hurt Bettman's wallet. I heard he is paying to have Crosby's ankle replaced with a bionic one. 2) Can't comment I am a Flyers fan. That would be the pot calling the kettle black. 3) The Island. 4) I want to see him back. 5) Not a clue.
I'd rather see AO in the spotlight anyway and I think all fans are more annoying when their team is winning and your team is losing, the team or its fans alone are irrelevant.
