Pretty good, but i think that the nucks will pick a center instead of a winger n i believe that filitov will be drafted 3-4
Probably close to the order the players will be picked, don't be surprised if the Leafs pick Kyle Beach with the 7th pick.
Don't see us picking a goalie in the first round with Enroth in the system... (we have the 26th from San Jose this year). Also, I'm personally hoping Teubert is still available at 13, and it's my guess that Del Zotto will either go to a team desperate for offense on their blueline or fall fast and hard. He's very one-dimensional.My $.02.
I just want to say that my decisions for the order of selection were not based on team needs. I decided that because of the trades that do go on during the draft so it's hard to determine which team will end up with which pick.
I hear that, and I'm holding some hope that Darcy looks to move us into a position to pick up Beach, but this is the kind of feedback you'll be getting all day on this. It comes down in part to the best player available, in part to team needs.
ok thanks for your opinion I will take that into consideration next time I do one of these
Looks pretty good, although I think Boedker goes higher. I don't think Hodgson or Wilson goes before he does. Beach perhaps but not the others. Just a tip though. In the future, try to include the team name as well. I know alot of the picks, but had to look several up since I don't have the draft order committed to memory. Just a tip ;) Looks good otherwise though.
myers could go higher if some team thinks he's a coburn clone. they'll have to be patient though. after the first 12, i don't know much about the rest.
Hey, thought I should add the draft order:1. Tampa Bay2. Los Angeles3. Atlanta4. St. Louis5. NY Islanders6. Columbus7. Toronto8. Phoenix9. Nashville (from Florida)10. Vancouver11. Chicago12. Anaheim (from Edmonton)13. Buffalo14. Carolina15. Nashville16. Boston17. Calgary18. Ottawa19. Columbus (from Colorado)20. NY Rangers21. New Jersey22. Edmonton (from Anaheim)23. Washington24. Minnesota25. Montreal26. Buffalo (from San Jose)27. Philadelphia 28. Los Angeles (from Dallas)29. Pittsburgh Penguins30. Detroit Red Wings
So the Habs would pick another D-Man?I'm not so sure of that one. We have enough D prospects that we might actually package 1 for some help up front.
Remember the Russian players will plummet in the draft as there is no transfer agreement. Filatov will go much lower then 5th.
As if you had any clue why Zac Dalpe should go before Evgeny Grachev...
the russian transfer agreement....
We'll find out soon enough.
i expect the russians will fall in draft order, I also think boychuck will go higher. of course at this stage who knows after the first few picks things get wonky in the draft teams select on the needs rather than the talent available and teams will trade spots. but good work you obviously put some effort into it
There is no transfer agreement at all in place as most european countries opted out of the deal earlier this season so all europeans will fall in the draft
I'd be happy if the Leafs got Hodgson with the 7th pick. Will be some interesting guys available at that spot so anything could happen.
NFPH: Having a chance to see a lot of OHL hockey, Del Zotto is ahead of Brian Campbell at this point on the defensive side of the puck. But that's not saying a whole lot either. Del Zotto is great with the puck and can go end to end! Would'nt mind seeing him picked by the Blue and Gold.
Hmmmm... You ended up being realitivly close, but missing from your list is Josh Bailey. He went 9th to the Isles. He was ranked in the top 30 so I'm not sure how you missed him. He's from my hometown of Bowmanville, Ontario. As are Tyler Cuma (MINN), and Greg Nemisz(CGY). 3 Bowmanville Boys in the 1st Round. BTW Bowmanville only has about 30,000 People. lol
