Hey there to all my hockeybuzz brethren and sistren (is that a word? Sure, why not). So, this isn't a normal blog or anything just a call for help. I know that alot of you out there in hockeybuzz-land live in the greater Toronto area, and alot of the others have visited the area. So, my wife and I are making our first ever trip to the Toronto are in a couple weeks and other than the HHOF, I have no idea what to do up there. So basically I'm looking for some tips what you guys as to what we just really shouldn't miss. We are only going to be up there for a 3 day weekend and my wife really wants to spend a day (or at least part of a day) in Niagara Falls. Let me know your ideas for can't miss things to do in Toronto. Thanks in advance!
Hey, The CN Tower is always a big tourist destination. They have a ton of activities there for the kids too. Also, Toronto or Centre Island is fun for kids as they have an amusement park and petting zoo. The best place to check is www.toronto.com, it will provide you with attractions and events happening during the time of your stay. Hope this helps...
I apologize as my comments were intended with the thought that you were bringing kids...the CN tower is still a good place to go and they have the 360 restraunt at the top which rotates while you eat...
hit up wonderland man , half an hour to 40 min drive from |T.O . Also just the city itself is extremely mulitucltural just taking in the sights is another good idea.
Thanks for the tips guys! Yeah, we are actually leaving the kid home with the grandparents, so no kid stuff necessary on this trip. We thought about the CN Tower, but it seems kinda pricey for just a view. I don't know, we'll see what the weather looks like. What's the deal with Wonderland? Is that an amusement park or something?
Ya, Wonderland is an amusement park...it's fun, but it's really crowded on the weekend
ok, THANKS!
