Today I have to ask you guys what you think we can get out of Nik Zherdev in a trade. I have 10 trade possibilities. Here they are.....

1. Rozsival, Zherdev, Locke, Dupont 2010 2nd round to Dallas for Brad Richards and Stephane Robidas.

2. Zherdev, Roszival, Crowder to Atlanta for Bryan Little and Eric Boulton.

3. Zherdev, Rozsival, Dupont to Florida for Cory Stillman, Jordan Leopold and Nik Tarnasky

4. Zherdev, Locke to Phoenix for Kyle Turris and Kevin Porter

5. Zherdev, Dupont to Columbus for R.J Umberger

6. Zherdev, Rozsival, Voros, Sauer to Los Angeles fo Dustin Brown and Sean O'Donnell

7. Zherdev, Rozsival, Locke, Sanguinetti, 2nd round 2010 to Washington for Nik Backstrom and Sean Collins

8. Zherdev, Anisimov, Redden, Valentenko, 2010 2nd round to Ottawa for Dany Heatley.

9. Zherdev, Rozsival, Fahey to Detroit for Johan Franzen and Kirk Maltby

10. Zherdev, Redden, Locke to Toronto for Matt Stajan and Jonas Frogren

Tell me the best proposal in the comment and give me other thoughts.....

The only 2 that I can see the other team even willing to consider would be 1 and 3. I doubt Atl trades Little. Phx won't trade Turris, especially for that. NO WAY Detroit moves Franzen. Washington won't trade their #1 C either. Most teams won't give up much for Zherdev knowing he'll likely be a UFA after the arbitration award is made.

Scratch nimbers 5 and 8...Umberger isnt that appealing to me, I dont want to give that much for Heatley anymore....How about ( a real stretch here...) Zherdev, Voros, Crowder, Lisin and 1st Rd Pk for Jack Johnson and Brown

KPE18.....If they did that trade...I would do cartwheels down Hollywood Blvd!I feel a 3 way trade coming in the way of the Heatley to Edmonton...I feel Heatley to Edm.....Zherdev to Ottawa......Brule and Prospect to Rangers...just a gut feeling....

I really think the Ottawa and Rangers had a deal worked out...thk they wanted McDonagh REAL BAD....He may be part of a 3 way deal if Heatley is moved...

I have another idea....how about Zherdev for ( lol ) Eric Johnson -St Louis....or realistically Keith Tkachuk and a conditional draft pick

or Zherdev to LA Kings for newly signed Jack Johnson....Im such a dreamer...He might also fit in Calgary for exchange of Matt Pelech and a Conditional Draft Pick

Ok, my last comment about Zherdev....Zherdev to Atlanta for Valabik and Stewart....If needed we send them a Conditional Draft pick or Kundratek or Matt Zaba.

OK first of the Kings would never trade Dustin Brown (Captain) and Jack Johnson for Zherdev (Punk) Voros(Joke), Lisin (overrated). And how do you figure the rangers can still get heatley? I'd rather them go after Spezza or Savard..both they could get for Zherdev, McDonaugh, 2nd rd pick and add in Voros.

Ok, lets try this.....Zherdev and Roszival to Toroanto for Kaberle and Tlusty...We get rid of Zherdev and Lose an Offensive DMan, but we get a much better Offensive DMan and Tlusty is a young playmaker who has a great upside. Neither Tlusty or Zherdev are gifted when it comes to Defense...difference is Zherdevs offense skills are already apparent.....its a fair deal.....

Could do a combo of Zherdev, Roszival, a pair of Prospects and a Draft pick for Kaberle, Tlusty and another one of their plentiful D-man, preferably Exelby .....Wishful thinking Im sure....Dont thk Toronto has a need for Two Physical D-men in Komisarek and Exelby.....Id love to take Komisarek off their payroll though...this deal would clear payroll for us to fit them in plus sign Dubinsky....

Whats the story with Babchuk in Carolina....is he staying in NHL or going to KHL...he could fit in quite well on the Top Def Line on NYR....

Beardo, Boston def HAS to trade in order to sign Kessel. As of now they are over the cap by 2 mil plus. Rumors are they are prob trading Kobasew and likely one of their centers since that is where they have depth. A deal for Savard probly will not happen. Bergeron ( prone to injury ) or Krejci is more likely. If they plan on REALLY signing Kessel, they have to deal, no way around it...I thk alot of teams are inquiring about their situation......

Zherdev for Dustin Brown is a fair deal for both? put the pipe down man! brown is a Captain and an up and coming force in the league and Zherdev is an underachieving loafer. yea, that sounds like a fair deal! NOT.

BTD5504...heres one for ya, rumors have it that Phx is looking to move Shane Doan, since he has real value, to get some younger in return...how aboutZherdev/Redden/D Prospect or two( Potter and Sauer ) and a 2nd Rd Pk to Phx for Doan,Hanzal and Yandle
