East
1-Washington- Ovechkin, Semin, Backstom, Green, Poti..... Amazing 5... Nuff Said
2-Pittsburgh- Stanley Cup Champs, with two franchise players who easily break 100 pts.
3-Boston- Savard, Bergeron, and others will all score 20 goals, and their all-star defense will lift them to home ice advantage.
4-NY Rangers- Gaborik is coming off surgery and will be healthy, he'll easily score 40+ and a rising Callahan may hit 30, with Drury and Higgins hitting 25, and Kotalik, Avery, and Prospal can be penciled in for 20 with Dubinsky and Anisimov expected to hit at least 17. Staal, Girardi, and Gilroy will take crushing slapshots from the point and hit everything that moves. Lundqvist stands on his head to make saves, and this team will be a playoff team.
5-New Jersey- The Devils never miss the playoffs. One of the best coaches in the NHL is coming in and the have a true sniper with Parise and a rising star in Zajac, with the best goaltender of all time in betwwn the pipes. The only reason they wont have the home ice is because they have parted ways with too many meaningful players like Madden, Gionta, and Rupp. They will be replaced with rookies......
6- Philadelphia- Mike Richards, and Jeff Carter will crack 45 goals and Hartnell and Briere will hit 30. Giroux will hit 20. They will have a lot of goals, but their goaltending is shaky....
7-Toronto- Komisarek, White, Beuchemin, Schenn, Exelby, and Kaberle make up an excellent defensive corps, with Ponikarovsky, Blake, and Hagman busy scoring goals, "THE MONSTER" will make some great saves and will be the Lundqvist of 2009-10.
8-Tampa Bay- Mattias Ohlund, Victor Hedman, and Matt Walker lead a decent cast of defenseman, while Stamkos will have a breakout year while Lecavalier and St. Louis will
score 40 goals and Nittymaki will have a decent year to put this team back in the playoffs.
WEST
1-Chicago- When Hossa is finally healthy, Kane, Towes, and Hossa will be a dynamite line and assure the first place in the conference.
2-Calgary- They basicallt have Team Canada's defense now. Boumeester, Phaneuf, Regher, and Cory Sarich are all Team Canada guys. They have Kipprusoff in goal and Jokinen and Iginla up front. This team is easily a contender....
3-Anaheim- Getzlaf, Perry, and Ryan is a franchise line. With Niedermeyer, Boynton, and Whitney on a stacked defense, this team will go far....
4-Detroit- No matter what, this team this team will always be contenders....
5-San Jose- Marleau, Cheechoo, Thornton, Clowe, Pavelski, and Setagouchi can all score 30 goals.... the rest of the team, however has no scoring ability. Nabakov in goal keeps this team great.
6-Vancouver- Luongo and the Sedin Twins are always good and Alex Burrows will keep rising and will pot 35 this year.
7-Dallas- Mike Ribeiro, Brad Richards, and a great defense make this team contenders...
8-Los Angeles Kings- Kopitar, Brown, Frolov, and Smyth will be scary enough, but to add on top of that they are on the verge of trading for Dany Heatley.... No doubt they are a playoff team.
