Scottie Upshall plugged in two goals, and Marty Biron stopped 24 shots as the Flyers roughed up the New York Islanders in more than one way. The Flyers remain undefeated at home this year going 6-0.

Once again the Flyers look fantastic in their transition game. I really haven't seen a bad transition game so far this year, maybe with the exception of the Devils game.

Nice job by Knuble for sticking for his teammates. Ruslan Fedotenko, former Flyer, dropped Jason Smith with a clean hit in the first period. However, his stick caught Smith's face when he was going down. Obviously this infuriated Smith who went after Fedotenko, who smartly went the other way to get away from Smith. Unfortunately though for Ruslan, he ran right into Knuble, who I think dropped his gloves and wanted to go with Fedotenko. Yet, the refs got right in and broke it up Luckily for Knuble, he got away with a instigator, or a fighting major, his gloves were dropped and I think that warrants a fighting major.

Mike Richards put in another shorthanded goal, he leads the team with ten goals, three of them shorthanded, and twenty points. Obviously, this guy is on a role and many people have wondered why the sudden outburst. Apparently, I found out through my investigation that Richards worked on his skating with a power skating coach during the off-season--that would certainly explain his quickness on the ice this year.

I'm waiting for a short suspension for Andy Sutton, who with .01 second left, he went in the corner and drilled Lasse Kukkonen's head with an elbow. Kukkonen was tied up in the corner and had his head down near the edge of the boards and the glass. Sutton just came right over and dropped Lasse, who went down. The Flyers seemed infuriated, and a scrum broke out--but the refs were in it and Jason Smith, who was the closest to Sutton after the hit, couldn't get a shot on him. The Islanders are lucky though--giving that the game was over and the teams were emptying the bench, that no one on the bench, like Eager started anything. I can only imagine that things will be straightened out during their next game.

Simon Gagne looks as though will be out throughout the Thanksgiving holidays. I think he will come back during the first week of December. As of right now, offensively Simon isn't missed. Hopefully, the offense keeps on flowing. I really like how the lines are going so far.

Big game on Thursday against the Rangers. It's going to be tough considering that Henrik Lundqvist will be in net. This guy has been playing fantastic and I think will be the only few teams that the Flyers would certainly like to have Gagne in the lineup.
