"A Sens-sational (usually) No Look Drop Pass"
Ottawa, ON • Canada • 35 Years Old • Male
Dan Carcillo is a rare commodity in hockey -- a skilled player who LOVES to get his nose dirty. I have heard on several occasions that Gretzky loves the guy, and after last night's hat-trick against Dallas (the game after he fought two Stars in the same game, dropping one with a single shot) how could you not? I'm sure the 'Yotes hope his goals:fights ratio balances out a bit, but they must be pretty excited about their squads future.

**************************

The Sens back-doored their way into the post-season last night, and will have to face either Pittsburgh or Montreal in the first round. Ouch! With Ottawa's momentum currently running lower than idle speed, and Alfie not being available for the short-term future, every player will have to step up.

If I could offer two suggestions to B. Murray, it would be these: 1) Hamel is a much better option then Robitaille (granted, I'm not sure if that is possible, but if it is, Randy should park it); 2) with Redden showing absolutely no desire to skate or show effort in his own end, why not try something dramatic and move Schubie back, and try Redd's on the wing. It may be too late to attempt this experiment, but it may be too late for Ottawa to turn it around.

Ottawa can finish in sixth if Boston loses its last game in regulation and Philly straight up loses. The Sens would be ahead of them due to more wins.

Hey, may as well try with the Redden thing, were not going far with the way he's playing.
