I have tried to look for stories or rumors regarding the Red Wings and I just can't find any. This organization is a well oiled machine. That being said, I did find out that Valtteri Filppula has a 2 year deal in place that both parties agree on. However, both parties would like a long term contract and would prefer to get that done instead. I expect to hear something by the end of July. Quincey and Ericsson have also been given contracts. Hopefully both will sign soon. I guess when your team wins a Stanley Cup, has almost everyone locked up for the next 2-4 years, and you sign Marian Hossa to a one year deal, there really isn't much work to do. Makes sense why the Red Wings are quiet this offseason.
Just scary...whats there to improve on/
I think the most important thing is to keep up the pressure on the rest of the league. Detroit has set the standard, now the rest if us have to catch up somehow.
