My brother (in-law) Ryan Savoy one of the bravest people i have ever known. He was torn apart by the actions of the cowards that hi-jacked the planes and used them as devices of destruction. Even though he was already in the Marines at the time he choose to go to Iraq and fight for the ones who's lives were cut short. He was in the Marines for 5y yrs in the 1st Armored Division heading into Bagdad. Without care for himself his sole purpose was to avenge those who were on the airplanes and anyone else who lives were taken. His unit was the first into Bagdad and he told me the best feeling in the world was seeing the people who have been held under the iron fist of Saddam for so long. The kids were running along side the tanks and the woman were blessing the soldires as they proceeded in the city.

My Brother was a radio operator while in the Marines and said it was an experience
he would never ever forget. He time was up in the Marines and he opted to exit the military and try to enter back into society and things were rough for him. He said people that have never been involved in a war cant really understand the amound of stress and heartache they go through on a daily basis. Husbands and Wifes, Sons and Daughters lives have been changed forever. When my brother came back from iraq he kept his guard up and wouldnt let people in. This was his stance for a while until he realized he wasnt in Iraq anymore and he is whith friends and family. About a yr and a half ago he said he wanted to go back into the army and become a medic and do what he could to save the lives of people injured. He is still in Iraq to this day and he says this (Iraq) is the best place for him right now. My wife is his brother but me and him are very close and he is my brother. She gets emotional at times when she watches TV and they talk about the war. I tell her that her brother is a rare breed that wants to help others to try to ease the pain for other families.

Regardless of party (Republican , Democrat or Independant) we all love our hereos and we support them and want them to come home safe. This blog is dedicated to those people who were killed in the 9/11 tragedy and for those men and women fighting for our freedom!
