Every year i make a mock draft based on CSS, ISS rankings and on what i read in the Hockey's Future forum. Here's my mock draft, the ranks 1 to 26 are ok and i based the ranks 27 to 30 on my playoffs predictions (i think Anaheim will win the cup so Edmonton will draft 30th with Anaheim's pick).
A chaque année je fais un mock draft en me basant sur les classements de la...

Last season, the word around the NHL was that the 2011 draft class would be the weakest one of the past ten years. Now? NHL GMs are saying this draft is deep, and is even drawing comparisons to the famed 2003 draft. This mock draft was much harder to put together than the one I did last year because of the amount of players that have a chance to go in the first round. Low ...

With the NHL entry draft just around the corner and with all the controversy sorrounding it this year, I thought I should put in my two cents. With this being a deep draft year it will be interesting to see how it stacks up to the rest. So with no further ado, ladies and gentlemen, this is the Oilersrule66 2013 NHL mock draft.

Mock Draft 2013 By @Justinbeatty777:
#1 – Colorado – Seth Jones
Why: All-Star future number one defenseman who could pass him up.
Avs need a number one dmen for their future plans. But however Roy has a future with Nathan and has watched him a lot and loves his play so it could go either way.
#2 – Florida – Nathan MacKinnon
Why: A beauty to watch, a workh...
With one of the better Stanley Cup Finals of recent memory now in the rear view mirror, the attention of the hockey world now turns to the Draft, which is less than a week away. This year's crop is considered the deepest in a decade, and there is sure to be plenty of excitement when the picks are made June 30th in New Jersey. As hockey executives and enthusiasts prepare fo...

There's nothing I enjoy more than the days leading up to the NHL Draft. Last year was the first time in the past 3 years I didn't write my mock draft, and it just didn't feel right. So this year, I'm back again to share my thoughts on how the 2013 NHL Draft might go. This is a strong year in my eyes, with 5 players who could dramatically change the fortunes of a few lucky ...
You know what this is! Why give some long drawn out explanation with a thesis paragraph and other formulaic writing nonsense? (Not that I'm not guilty of using the odd trope here and there!). Cite me if I'm wrong and laugh in my face... go ahead, do it!
NOTES:
1. Some of the prices I put forth would be ridiculous in any other year, but because of the really strong cro...
The NHL playoffs are in full swing and with no set date for the NHL Draft here is my Mock Draft and how I see things playing out.
1. New York Rangers: Alexis Lafrenière
This may be the easiest pick in the draft. The Rangers get a top line left wing who can blossom under Artemi Panarin’s tutelage.
2. Los Angeles Kings: Tim Stützle
The Kings are rebuilding and ne...
Part two of my NHL Mock Draft.
9. Minnesota Wild: Cole Perfetti
The Wild luck out with Perfetti dropping a few spots. Perfetti was second in OHL scoring with 111 points.
10. Winnipeg Jets: Anton Lundell
Winnipeg has issues on the backend with the loss of Byfuglien, Trouba and Myers but they go with Lundell. Lundell plays similarly to Mikko Koivu. A solid ...
1. Chicago Blackhawks: C Connor Bedard Regina Pats (WHL)
Bedard is the no brainer pick here. Generational talent that will jump start the Hawks rebuild in the post Kane and Toews era. Comparable: Auston Matthews
2. Anaheim Ducks: C Adam Fantilli University of Michigan (NCAA)
Fantilli absolutely blew away the competition in the NCAA with 65 points in 36 game...
SanJose Sharks: C Macklin Celebrini ( Boston University)
Celebrini has long been projected as the top pick in this draft. The BU Terrier had a freshman year for the ages. Ending the season with 64 points in 38 games and becoming the youngest player to ever win the Hobey Baker Award as the best player in college hockey.
Player Comparable: Jason Robertson
Chicago ...
