First off let me just say that watching John Tavares play here in London since his trade I have come to see that he is an exceptional talent..........So was Alexandre Daigle. I am not saying that Tavares will be a bust like Daigle, just that talent alone will not make you a star in the NHL. Daigle did not have the heart to play nigh in and night out at the NHL level and we wont know for a couple...

Let us all concede that the NY Islanders will get the first overall selection in the 2009 Entry draft. Now that Milbury is not in charge they will probably make the correct choice and go with John Tavares over Victor Hedman. So what do the Leafs do with that second overall pick? Keep it and take Hedman? Keep it and take some one out of place? Or do we trade it?

The NHL All Star game is in need of a major adjustment. While I do enjoy the skills competition and the young stars game, the big show is more of a big disappointment. First of all not all of the games stars are there, albeit some of them are injured and that is understandable.
