opening night roster fun

Well alrighty.... that was a fun and interesting fiasco that was setting the final 23 (24) man roster.
Not often do you see players sent down to the Oklahoma City Blazers. Especially 2 players that are NHL ready. By Wednesday, October 8th, at 3pm Eastern the Stars must have their roster down from their current total of 28 to the 23 man maximum. Here is the current 28 man roster

Ribeiro locked up!

Just announced on the Dallas Stars broadcast tonight..... Mike Ribeiro is going to be a dallas stars for a good while! He signed a 5 year 25 million dollar deal today!
Ribeiro is having a career year and is on pace for 80+ points.
Personally, I am very happy with the move. It is a very good deal for both sides!

Fedoruk on waivers, Jussi explodes(literally), Fistric, etc

Ok, Fedoruk is on waivers. I am not surprised and I do feel that he has been given a legitimate shot to really make a positive impact on this team, but he has not. I hope he finds a home with a team that needs a little grit. He is an extremely nice guy off of the ice.

Ok so I am posting this a few days after the appointment of Hull and Jackson as interim co-general managers in Dallas. This whole interim co-GM thing seems to me that Hicks wants Jackson to train Hull so that Hull can take over as the man in Dallas.
