I don't think your title is right. I think it should say "Lemieux Laces Into NHL." NOT Isles.

And to think, this all started because DiPietro decided to fight Johnson.

i wont make the typical "matt cooke" comment. but dont the penguins lead the nhl in penalty minutes, fights, major penalties and game misconducts?

regardless, what the isles did was disgusting. you dont jump a guy like that. to be honest though. having matt cooke running around throwing cheap shots and guys like crosby complaining to the point that his live mic feeds can't even be used doesn't fair well for a team whos owner is trying to criticize the league. if he really wants to make a difference suspend cooke.both sides are wrong here :)

pens lead the league in fights because they have 2 superstars to defend. Everyteam has a cooke and mario wasnt referring to a cheap hit instead he was reffereing to premediated assualts that occured during the game. Martin not challenging talbot to fight like a man and jumping him like bertuzzi!

The other incident was absolutely disgusting when gilles elbowed tangradi concussed him, sucker punched him while hes down on the ice (johnson didnt hit dieptro while he was on the ice) and then taunting him in the hallway while hes still trying to remember his name.

At least matt cooke took his beating like a man after the savard hit by boston tough guy shawn thorton. Give boston credit because they didnt stoop to the level of the islanders after that incident. Guess thats what happens when your organization is a joke from the top to the bottom though.
