Sabres tix for next year 'maxed out'

For those outside of Buffalo, just an interesting little story....

I called HSBC Arena yesterday. I was hoping to buy season tickets. The response I got: "We're all maxed out for next season. We can take your name down for the waiting list though."

What?

It's not like I waited til the last minute. Last year I ordered my tix in August and had no problem.

You just can't get them.

On another note, the city is still, surprisingly upbeat, anxiously looking ahead to what moves will be made this offseason and of course the excitement is building for next year.

Flags are still displayed on cars in the area, large banners fly on homes, signs remain throughout the region. And Buffalo Sabres hockey continues to dominate the conversation between complete strangers in this city.

Now if we're not a hockey town, tell me what is. Ever since the lockout, there's no such thing as a bandwagoner anymore. Everyone is into this team. And the Sabres craze continues.
