What do you do when you've invested 4 hours in a game, its 1:30am and a full workday looms 6 hours away?
There is nothing better than a Stanley Cup playoff game going into multiple overtimes. There is nothing worse than that alarm clock going off anything less than 4 hours after finally falling asleep. Vancouver and Dallas kicked of what I love most about the playoffs; the sudden thrill of victory and agony of defeat when the OT goal is scored. Unfortunately, I gave up after 4+ hours (end of the 1st OT) and succombed to my body signals telling me I needed to get to bed, but thanks to digital video recording technology, I was able to see the end this morning. I hope more of the same is on tap, b/c I'm looking forward to making that investment in the lenghty OT game-winning goal excitement.
What decision do you make when you've put in the time and OT just goes on and on until the early morning hours? Stick it out or bail out? Let me know
nice going fake fan... real fans stick it out...
Stick it out! Gotta see how it ends...
I don't think you can call him a fake fan, he probably just isn't a Canucks or Stars fan. I was in the same situation, Thursdays are long for me so I went to bed halfway through the second overtime. If that was the Wild I'd be watching it, but on Wednesday nights sleep wins. Hopefully that was just the start though, that was an awesome dilemma to be in.
yea since it was the canucks, i didnt really feel obligated to stay up, if it was the Oilers on the other hand, I would have pulled an all nighter, called in sick or something. anything.
i still think ur a f***ing fake fan i stayed up like all the other loyal fanz!!!!!!!!
did you Canucks fan stay up last night to see your team get bounced? Betcha that was worth it wasnt it? Try responding like an adult next time
