Mighty Sens May Be Doomed Tonight

I have an eerie, excited feeling about tonight's game, one I have not felt since last year. I had anticipated the Sabres' slow start to this year, and I even called it in my preseason blog. I also have said they will turn it around, and I truly believe that.

Tonight is a big game for them, and as I said, I just have this weird good feeling about it. The Sabres have been eyeing this game on the schedule since September. They want some Ottawa blood. Especially now that the team's roles are completely reversed from the start of last season.

I see the Sens overlooking the Sabres' prowess, and the offense coming to life. Especially the guys who are supposed to produce...I see them waking up tonight and delivering.

Buffalo is licking their chops and they want to get at this Mighty Sens team.

Ottawa is good enough to suppress that Buffalo energy, and turn it into their own. I wouldn't be surprised by that at all. I just see it going differently tonight.
