Why The Habs Won't make the Playoffs

We have all heard NHL bloggers, announcers, beat writers, and fans refer to the omni-present "HOCKEY GODS". These unseen forces, that protect the integrity and well being of the game as we know it, have been offended! Thats Right fellow Hockey Fans, the same City (Montreal) and its fans, who in the past paid homage to the HOCKEY GODS have sinned against the Gods in 2008-2009.
"How you may ask", simply said THE ALLSTAR GAME! The Habs fans were guilty of stacking the line-up with home town hereos instead of voting in some of the elite players that deserved to play. ( IE Mike Richards.)
I hope the Montreal Fans enjoyed the game and seeing their Habs in Allstar Jerseys, because they wont see them in the playoffs this year. The City and its Fans must face the wrath of the HOCKEY GODS!

Worst blog ever and I hope you will get banned for that piece of garbage. Kovalev was the best player at the all star game, Price deserved to go at the time and Markov has 60 points!If you think the habs won't make it, then tell us why. Hockey gods is not a reason at all.

Not an excuse as much as a fact. Boston was really affected by those last season and look them now. It makes a huge difference.
really injuries??? Buffalo lost their two best players for signifigant time, and Connolly for half the season - Really? If the sabres were healthy the habs wouldnt even be in the playoffs now.

"Hockey Gods" can not even propel the Habs in to the playoff's, Karma is a bitch Habs fans. Montreal had their All Stars solidifed before the voting was even over because it was a homer move and a disrepect to the game. I heard you also voted for Dryden and Lafleur but they were only alternates. But hey if they dont make the playoffs good luck watching curling.

They'll make the play-offs then loose 4 straight to Boston. So they'll play 4 more games than toronto.

You're kidding right, flyers fan ahah....or worst bruins fan....dammmmn. Can't wait to see the HABS destroy your a**. Got news for you, No Umberger Magic for the flyers this year, and for the bruins, well, do I really have to remind you what happened the last time they finished 1st or 2nd or what happened last year.
Ohhh so the bruins won a couple more games than the habs this year and they won the season serie, well that makes up a bit for the last, what, 100 years of MTL domination over boston, but it doesn't erase the fact that come playoff time your beloved Bruins can't get past the Habs, wherever they finish in the standings
