Fantasy Picks - Week 8

Posted 9:39 AM ET | Comments 1
All right all you fantasy hockey junkies out there this blog is for you. This is the 1st in a once a week blog I am going to start putting out, to help make your picks, and especially for those of you in larger pools, to pick up some sleepers that most people would overlook, and for those of you in HBSL this will help when your trying to make that last pick to fit under the cap.

Alexander Radulov- Nashville Predators RW
14pts (4g, 10a) in 18 games. Nashville is expecting big things out the young Russian this year. He shows lots of promise as a goal scorer in the NHL, has a big shot, is a gifted puck handler, and a good skater as well. It has been a bit of an up down season to start but he has started to pick up his game in the last few games, 7pts in the last 5 games (2g 5a).

Devin Setoguchi – San Jose Sharks RW
This kid is the real deal, He is going to be a big time player one day in the NHL he isn’t quite there yet, but doesn’t mean he isn’t worthy of fantasy consideration. I have watched a few San Jose Sharks games, He is lightening quick, owns great offense skills & a nose for the net, and for a young player is polished in his own zone. He has 5g in his last 4 games.

Mark Streit – Montreal Canadiens D
A bit of a late bloomer but has all the ingredients to make a great PP Quarter Back. He is a smooth, fast skater, good at moving the puck. At times he reminds me of Tomas Kaberle with his smooth strides and ability to move the puck. Montreal uses him on the point on there #1 PP unit because of his big shot, is a very hard, accurate shot and owns a big one timer. He should be solid choice for those of you in bigger fantasy leagues or a late pick for HBSL.

I will post next week at a regular time probably Sunday afternoon sometime so that all the weeks games are completed before I make my picks.
