In the Quebec league, goalie Timo Pielmeier has gotten off to a rough start and was pulled from Friday's game against Cape Breton after allowing three goals on 12 shots. He did not play in the rematch on Saturday as Jake Allen blanked Cape Breton on 23 shots in a 4-0 St. John's win. The Fog Devils have back to back games this week, so hopefully Pielmeier gets another chance soon.

Currently Pielmeier is 1W-4L with a 86.4SV% and 4.40GAA, both of which rank in the bottom-15 of the QMJHL goaltenders, though his 245 minutes played rank first among QMJHL rookie netminders.
