It's not out of realm of possibility. Andy Strickland was on a local radio station last night and basically summed it up this way:

Everyone knows already that Teemu is working out every day. He talks to Paul Karyia every day and if there is anyone that could sell Teemu on the idea of coming to the Blues it's his best friend.

Not to mention the chemistry that Selanne and Andy McDonald had last year in Anaheim. John Davidson and the Blues are watching this situation very carefully and are VERY, VERY interested.

Because Teemu is over 35, they can structure a deal with bonuses that would allow the Blues to go over the salary cap if needed so salary restraints are not an issue.

Could this be a possibility???? At first glance, I thought no but this story continues to gain momentum. As a Blues fan, it would be just a little to good to be true.

good article, I hope he goes to St. Louis. And for all you Ducks fans saying no, that is not very insightful. At all. This would ensure the Blues a playoff spot, barring serious injury problems, I think.

hey b nice read and heads up. putting it this way it could be possible but what's the cost? not money but which player is sitting? that's my only concern, as long as perron keeps getting time to learn this yr i'm okay with it. wow i'm excited. and poop on ducks fans. enjoy what it looks like to be in the playoff standings now. and now i'm hoping the ducks get a higher pick than the one they'll get from edmonton this yr. and ty for mcdonald what a steal lolololol
