Another Quiet day in the Kovi Front

Another day with no news..Actually today was a pretty quite day.....
Lets go down the list:
Rumor that news will come out tomorow about Kovi's new contract...
Thats anyone one guess right now like I said everything has been quite on the front.
I was asked about the Devils getting fines by the NHL..
I don't believe that the NHL will fine the Devils...this wasn't about the NHL hate for the Devils..but a way for the NHL to stop front loaded contracts....
Why would they target the Devils and not Hossa, Prong head or other contracts????
My answer to that is that Kovi's contract really pushed the envelope.....And the NHL knew if they didnt act on it next year we would have seen Lou sign Zach for 20 years at 110 million.....I for one don't believe in front loaded contracts....17 years is a little much...10 and below is more doable....
