Plan A: Do absolutely nothing significant
I forget who, but someone in the management team already stated that the most they'd like to do is find the magical "top 6 forward." So the rumors of Slava Kozlov make sense, but I ask: does he make the offense THAT much better?
Plan B: Do even less
This plan includes signing some dman like Ken Klee and expecting Loui Eriksson and Jussi Jokinen to produce. Why?
So it boils down to this: Dallas was one of the top defensive teams in hockey last year that couldn't score a goal to save their life. They want to make a small improvement or no improvement to the scoring. At some point they need to get a winger that can play on the top line with Modano (or whoever is the top Center when he retires), but apparently they won't be doing that yet again.
I'll begin this campaign right now "Resign BillyG"
