A Huge Rumor Involving The Blues and The Penguins

I have talked to a couple of people tonight that have told me the Blues and Penguins are definitely talking trade. The Blues apparently have expressed interest in defenseman Ryan Whitney and forward Erik Christiansen, among a few others.
If a trade is indeed made, it looks as if defenseman Barrett Jackman is one of the definite names mentioned to be heading to Pittsburgh. The Penguins have also expressed interest in the services of forward Lee Stempniak, but it is doubtful that St. Louis would be willing to give up on Stempniak, seeing he is one of the young guys the Blues want to build around for the future.

I liked this rumor when it first came up.......A year ago. I doubt there's anything to this. Whitney is 24, a defenseman and signed long term. I'm not seeing it.
