Round 1 Predictions...

I know, everyone and their mother (or in some cases, dog) have predictions but here we go anyway:
Eastern Conference
Boston vs. Montreal - Boston will ride Timmy Thomas as long as they can - Bruins in 6
Washington vs. New York Rangers - Alex the Great and that cannon from Greene on the point should carry them - Caps in 5
New Jersey vs. Carolina - Upset in the making!! Canes will win this one in 6
Pittsburgh vs. Philadelphia - Home Ice will be big! Pens in 7
Western Conference
San Jose vs. Anaheim - San Jose will get Thornton to wake up early and dispose of the Ducks in 5
Detroit vs. Columbus - Mason will steal a game, but that's it. Red Wings in 5
Vancouver vs. St. Louis - St. Louis will be scary in the coming years, scary good dare I say...but this year the Canucks are too much, winning in 6
Chicago vs. Calgary - Chicago are young, fast and going into the playoffs with back-to-back wins over Detroit...they are ready...Calgary? Injured and confusing...Chicago in 6

why is carolina beating new jersey an upset? carolina is a great team and have had the devils number all season long
i guess they consider it an upset cuz were in 3rd an there in 6th...hopefully we can come out on top an face a weakend philly or pittsburgh..
I agree with your picks I hate to say about the Flames one but I have to agree.
I agree with the picks, but the only result I'd challenge is the Caps/Rangers series. I think it'll go to 7. Lundquist will carry the Rangers into a 7th game, but the extreme lack of Defense will break them in the end.
Everyone doggin the CBJ. Love it !!! What happens if they win ? Then will they get some respect.
