10 Random Leafs Predictions

I have a few predictions, some realistic, some fun and outlandish, for the Leafs from now till the end of next season.
Enjoy!
1) Komisarek is gone, he will be traded. If the asset is a 7th rounder in 2015 I think the Leafs accept, and someone will give up a 5th for this guy in next years draft.
2) Kadri will end up on a line with Kessel and Connolly and have 60 points (45 assists).
3) Kessel will break 40 goals this year.
4) Orr will square off in 28 fights this year.
5) Schenn will be the only NHL defender to break 260 hits and 175 blocked shots, all while doubling his previous high in goals scored to 10.
6) Phaneuf will have 45 points, 13 goals.
7) Reimer will win 35 games and post a .922 SV%.
8) Connolly will play in 82 games!
9) The "Mac-And the USSR" line (Grabovski, Kulemin and MacArthur), will combine for a whopping 97 goals.
10) The Leafs will open the year 7-2-1 on route to their first appearance in the playoffs in the post-lockout era finishing the year with a 45-30-7 record!
ps ... thats right, i said _____ will outdo their previous high of ____ AND that the Leafs will get "x" more wins that "y" season. so get over it!

At least you're optimistic. But sorry dude, I don't think any of this is happening. By the way, not just hating because I'm a Habs fan, but I'm just saying, most of these are outrageous! Leafs will just miss the playoffs. Either that, or they will tank half way for a high pick. Connolly will play like, 50 games.
And while I agree Kessel has the potential to break 40, the Leafs don't have that set up man he had in Boston. (No, Tim Connolly is not an elite centre, more like a second liner) But, you're free to have Scott Gomez for a bag of pucks!
lol i have trouble seeing any of these actually happening. i can see komi being moved but for more then a 7th rn pick. burke aint that stupid. connolly will play less the 50 is more reasonable then him playin all 82 :p

If a Leafer can be so optimistic, I guess a Flames fan can be too! I predict Iggy breaks the 50 goal mark again!
leafs will be undeniably better this year. However, i still see them in a dog fight for that 8th and final playoff spot.

hes pretty bang on, on the predictions excpet connolly hell probably play like 74 games to 80 not a full season but burke will not let komi go for a 7th rounder lol komi is worth alot more than a 7th hes atleast a 2nd or he stays and aulie goes to minors
I agree with 3rd and 6th prediction. Others not so much, but I like your outrageous optimism. PS why am I not surprised that a Hab fan was the first to comment on a Leaf blog.

The over and under for games played for tim connolly are 50 games for the 2011-12 season,82 games?,i think not,he's so brittle i at 56 years old have a better chance at playing 82 games for the leafs,Yideboit the only prediction that has a chance of happening is Kessel with 40 goals with his Junior B toe-drag!
