Dude Got Hit By a Tootoo Train

Went to the Preds' first pre-season home game last name.
Much fun was had.
The Good:
-Beautiful, new HD scoreboard
-Two points each for Arnott, Dumont, and Zidlicky
-Gnash (our mascot) mocking the NFL by videotaping the Thrashers' bench
The Bad:
-The dancers (more on that in a future post)
-Sound issues (the lower bowl could not hear the announcements)
The Awesome:
Jordin Tootoo getting pinned by a Thrashers player during a fight and then flipping him. Hockey husband has good video of that on his blog here:

Overall, a good start. Hockey Wife is pleased. Let there be dancing.

Keep lobbying for help on sound issues in lower bowl. It's really bad. Otherwise, lots of great improvements to rink, scoreboard, seats, etc. More time tonight to see more of the younger skaters. Watching also as to how how roster and lines shape up for season start.
Wow, that scoreboard is nuts.
