Preds Win Fourth Straight Top Devils in Shootout

The Nashville Predators continue to play their best hockey of the season as they beat the New Jersey Devils 3 to 2 in a shootout.

Santorelli and Erat scored in the shootout to lift the Predators to victory.

The Preds 2 goals in regulation came from Jason Arnott. Including 1 on the powerplay. The Preds finished the night 1 for 2 on the PP. While the PK stopped both chances by the Devils.

Game Notables:

J. Arnott (A) - 2 goals from the captain on 2 shots and an even plus/minus. He also won 57% of his draws.

J. Dumont (B) - 2 assists and finished an even plus/minus. Had just over 16 minutes of ice time.

S. Weber (C) - Rare off day for the beast. Finished the night with a minus two with just 1 shot on goal. Logged 23 minutes.

J. Ward (B-) - Played well defensively. Finished the night with 6 shots on goal, leading the team. Including a strong move in OT to almost finish the game.

P. Rinne (A-) - Really good game from Peks. Stopped 26 of 28 and only gave up a fluke shootout goal.

The homestand continues as the Preds take on the Blue Jackets on Saturday.
