"Nashville Predators"
The Preds continue to struggle scoring losing 3 to 1 in Nashville to the Blackhawks. The Preds only could muster 2 shots in the third period and a total of 13 for the game. On the other side they gave up 30 shots. This team is just simply struggling and going down fast. I kept on hearing this team is getting scoring chances, they are, but the problem is this team doesn't have enough players to put those into the net. That is the difference between a scorer and a grinder.

Game Notables:

Klein (F) - Bad turnover in front of his own net leads to the second goal for the Hawks. A minus 2 and minus 7 in the last 3 games.

Hamhuis (F) - Just as bad as Klein. This duo has to be broken up. They are getting torched. Hamhuis a minus 2 and minus 10 in the last three games. Simply horrible and perhaps is time for a benching.

Erat (B) - Played better at times and got his first goal of the season. The Preds first goal outside of players who played on the top line. Was on of the few Preds with a solid effort.

Rinne (C) - The Preds hung him out to dry again, but he needs to come up with a big stop to bail this team out. The third goal was stoppable.

The Preds entered the game with the lowest shooting percentage in the league and the sad part is shooting 1 for 13 actually INCREASES their scoring percentage. A sad state of affairs.

Next game is at Washington on Saturday as the Preds start a 5 game road trip. This road trip may be a blessing. This could give the team some bonding time and perhaps less pressure playing away from the home crowd as they try to get their game together.
