"Nashville Predators"
The Predators did something they don't do very often. Beat the Dallas Stars in Dallas. Two very important points for the Predators. This win though came at a price. The Preds lost JP Dumont to an injury in the second period when he was hit hard into the boards on a 2 on 1. It looked like a concussion, but no official word yet from the Predators. The Preds can't afford an injury to their top 6 players, especially with Ward and Wilson on IR.

A few player observations from the game:

Ellis: Good game. Was only a goof away from being a great game. Played solid and didn't make many mistakes. Just 1 large mistake leading to the tying goal when his passed was intercepted and put right back into his net. But Kudos to Ellis on rebounding and playing big in the net in the 3rd/OT. Then coming away with the SO win after allowing only 1 goal.

Arnott/Sully: Both looked good and each had 1 goal. Arnott was much more physical than normal. Arnott also led the team with 7 shots. Great to see. Sully with the second goal and led the Preds forward in ice time with over 22 minutes.

Legwand/Santorelli - Not much to speak about from them during regulation/OT. They had a combined 4 shots on goal. They did step up during the shootout. Legwand with a clutch backhander top shelf to send the SO to an extra round and Santo with a great wrist shot to give the Preds the extra point.

Special Teams - Preds powerplay went 1 for 4, while holding Dallas to 1 for 6 including two, two man advantages.
