My name is Eric, I am a hockey card collector who started collecting during the 2003-2004 season and have learned a lot since then.
When I started collecting I quickly realized that things had changed from when I last purchased hockey cards as a kid in the early 1980's. So many brands, manufactures, insert sets, subsets, etc. had me confused and overwhelmed.
I grew frustrated at the lack of clear information about the hobby, especially on the Internet. Some great resources do exist and you will find reference them from this hockey card collecting blog. I will share with you what I have learned through the hockey card related content on this blog.
