Connie has his best game of the year. Bourque scores twice, Glencross gets three points - one goal and 2 assists, and Connie bags three assists. The three of them worked like a fine tuned machine, seemingly knowing where each other was constantly.

The Flames were basically all over them the whole game. I loved their legs. When this team skates, they are extreamly dangerous. When they skate and use their head,s they make fewer mistakes. When they start skating, they scare the crap into the opposing defense, which causes mistakes, giving them scoring chances..
You see the Flames were fast and were mostly smart tonight They stopped skating in third period and started to be lazy with the big lead. Moss also scored twice with Iggy , with Cammy rounding out the scoring, The two scores for the KIngs were Kopitar and Frolov. Basically it was like watching boys vs men.
The positives were that the Flames were near perfect, covering their own zone for the first two periods. The Flames' defense was terrific, clearing their own zone, and especially clearing the net in front of Kipper. The forwards were really helping the defense by coming back into the zone.
The negatives were that the powerplay was brutal at times, especially with the short-handed goal by Frolov. The Flames really relaxed on the powerplay, acting like they did not need to play anymore. The Flames were led to complacency with the big lead. They need to play a full 60 minutes. bt it did not hurt them tonight, thanks to the big lead. They have to stop making the lazy mistakes, and work hard for full 60 minutes. This is something they had better pick up before the Canucks away and home games later in the week.
