Every since I became a Leaf fan, I have always been awed by how gullible Leaf fans are.
Every spec and morsel of gosspip or rumour has to be the spot on truth because we want it so bad.
Why is the answer to always trade a player, I look at Kadri as an example. People have been trying to trade the kid since he was drafted. The leafs stayed relatively firm on him and now the fans want to anoint him Killer 2 the sequel. Well maybe he should play a full season and see how he does before he is given the crown.
Same goes for Bernier, Yes I am also taken by this guy but lets sit and actually see what a full season does to him in the big smoke (No Ford Pun Intended)
Also if we go on a losing streak, lets not just jump out and say Randy has lost the room its time to replace him. Randy is a great coach, and he gets more out this team than most coaches could even hope to do.
Okay Contract time.......Phanuef deserves 6.5 per on 5 years, yes he does you nay sayers who bask in the efforts of this man, yet are the first to criticize him for a mistake or two. NO he is Not Lidstrom or Stevens or Neidermayer, what he is, is a 22-26 minute a night Steady presence who can sometimes shoot cover the oppositions best night in and night out. You wouldnt want that for your team then go be a Sens fan cause thats all your worth.
On the plus side I am elated to see that most fans have truly appreciated Brian Burke and his efforts. I have missed him and do not assume that I am anti-Nonis because thats not the case at all. But credit is not given to Loiselle and the Scouting staff.
Dear Oilers Ownership:
Stop recycling Junk it didnt work the first time and a new title wonèt get you better results, the top down needs to go.
Dear Ed Snider:
Seriously you are on the brink of losing all credibility as an owner, you are NOT Mike Illitch and never will be your insane loyalty to a GM that clearly has not grasped the obvious and shouldnt be given the keys to an ECHL team is ridiculous. Your an embarrassment to the League.
Dear Charles Wang:
Finally your not the worst owner anymore.
Dear TSN:
Can you NOT put Pierre McGuires name out for every GM post its ridiculous. He is not a Viable Candidate and he is perfect in American television. NO ONE States the obvious with such a high pitched noise asdwell as Pierre.
