Just a few thoughts of what may transpire throughout the season:
First Coach Fired-Mike Yeo
First GM Fired-Paul Holmgren
Biggest Embarrassment-Patrick Roy, he has yet to come to full embarrassing potential
Stanley Cup Winner-Ottawa LOL I have no clue its all too close
Will the leafs make the Playoffs-NO
Will Jarome Iginla be successful in Boston-NO
Will PK Subban take responsibility for what happened to Parros-NO
Will Mike Gillis make Vancouver better--Big NO
Will Burke Fire Feaster in Calgary-Not till the season is over
Will Montreal have the success they had last year-No they will be hard pressed to make the playoffs.
Will San Jose finally get the hint and tear it down-Yes no one wants another Calgary
Will Edmonton get it together-No not until they stop revolving doors, and continue with the same people(Kevin Lowe), Dallas is awesome but a coach can only do so much.
Will Calgary keep Sean Monahan-No after 10 games he is back in Ottawa
Who are the sleeper teams: Tampa/Nashville/Florida and Winnipeg
What will happen to Joe Nieuwendyk: He will be back in Calgary
Will fighting leave the NHL-in 10 years yes sadly yes
Will Bettman retire: Maybe next year
Is John Tavares legit-Ah Yeah watch an Islanders game with an open mind
Will Phoenix remain in Phoenix-NO They will start in Quebec City in 16/17 season
Will Shea Weber remain in Nashville or will they Trade him-He stays as long as Poille does.
Biggest Suprise- Crosby plays 70+ games
Biggest Shock- Leafs fans stop over valuing their players and start watching other teams to realize more about hockey instead of what happens at the ACC-Not really its Toronto
Will Damien Cox realize no one cares about his opinion and get canned from the star and sportsnet- Unfortunately NO
Will Pierre McGuire make a glorious comeback to TSN and Canada-I hope not
Will Pierre Mcguire finally get the GM job TSN has been touting him for, for the last umpteen years-NO no one is dumb enough to hire him.
Will PJ Stock and Aaron Ward go to school and learn how to speak on TV-NO
Will Don Cherry Finally Retire-Not as long as there is a breath in his body
Who will be the Goalies Canada Brings to the Olympics: Luongo/Ward/Bernier
Why: Luongo-experience and has something to prove/Ward will have a stellar comback year and was pissed he wasnt invitied to camp (this was a toss up between Ward and Price)/Bernier because he will take over the starting job in Toronto and Canada always takes one "next Generation" Goalie
Who will start-Luongo
