Lou Lou Lemon????

Much has been said since the hiring of Lou to the leafs, Its the usual players calling crisis where there isn't one, or the impetuous suckups saying lou will part the blue sea and bring us to the promised land. So where do we find the truth?

I for one was not a fan of Shanahan and his hiring in the beginning, from there he started to impress. So far he has assembled a management cast of some of the best young talent in the league. Hunter was sought after for years by many teams and refused to leave London and his precious Knights. Who could blame him her had complete autonomy and massive continuous successes.

Dubas and Pridham speak for themselves each with large upside and oitstanding credentials.

Babcock------Anyone fighting that decision? Enough said!

Scouting staff--------Enough Said???

Brings us to Lou, Shocking as it was, Shanny stated from the start he wanted a GM with Credentials and experience. Almost 30 years with one organization is pretty good experience, not mentioning his stanely cups conference championships etc etc....

Would I have preferred Ken Holland? Yes, but he wasn't available.

So this is really a stroke of genius on Shannys behalf he gets a mentor for Kyle and Mark, as well he runs the shots as they all go through him, and if it goes south Lou is expendable and probably not around for 5 years anyway.

If anyone has ever met Shanny as I have, they would know this straight up talk he has going on is for real it is not just for the media. He stands behind his decisions and makes none of them lightly. This was all planned and executed to perfection.

I for one am throwing it all back in the Blue and white pot and beleaf deeply that the leafs are one the correct path. Win or lose in 5 years this process is a must.

Shanny was never going to let Lou come in and take over completely and not have a say, and since Shanny is batting 1000 he gets the benefit of the doubt.
