Now that rogers has taken over the Canadian Hockey television world, one would think they would at least try to bring more credibility to their panel.
Saturday Night Damien Cox reported that Toronto was talking to the Kings at the deadline last year in regards to Lupul going and some players in return. Well its possible that Cox whose credibility was weak to begin with, has lost whatever was left.
the kings have emphatically denied the rumor saying he was so far off and away. I understand how this could happen, as the kings would deny any rumor that did not actually happen. But for Kings management to say it never happened he was very misinformed tells me Cox is desperate to make a statement to try to establish himself as a Dreger-McKenzie type.
Note to Damien, Go back to writing, your good at that, you look terrible on television and you sound like a baboon on TV. This desperate attempt at trying to establish yourself has clearly back fired and now only Pierre McGuire is worse than you on TV. If you wonder why Bob tolerates you on that dreadful radio-TV show its because some idiot producer thought you may do well on TV. Start banking that paycheck mate you will not last long.
