I mean really. I wonder if there is still doubt in the minds of the Vancouver-ites who so quickly jumped off the Stanley Cup bandwagon after Game 1. In sickness or in health. Imagine our PP once we have KB and SS back. I mean really. Seriously.
While the Canucks were not perfect, the longer the game lasted, the more tired the youngsters on the Duck line 2 (pending superstars that they are) looked. Then you had the 3rd line out doing their thing and allowing the Canucks to pound more shots on Giggy.
The Canucks will make a series of it yet. Recharged, re-energized and refocused, there can be no doubt in their mind that they next step is attainable, through hard work, good communication.
I'm willing to open the doors to this bandwagon, for those who may jumped off a little early, unsure of where they are headed. Through thick and thin, sickness and in health.
LOL! Okay! Turco shut you out 3 times in 7 games? All of his stats were better than Luongo's and they both played on their heads. But last night, as in game 7, came down to not capitalizing when Luongo was down and out. Selanne missed the gaping net on his back-hand bid and Modano rang a shot of the crossbar. Without question...Luongo is AWESOME...I cannot believe the stop he made on Selanne's break-away...he was completely frozen and somehow came up with the stop! But Turco was, has been, and will continue to be brilliant. If our series accomplished anything other than sending us home, it allowed Turco and the Stars to see what he is really capable of. Look out next year! Once again the Canucks hung around long enough to catch a break, and for that I give them credit. That being said, I don't think you see the same thing in game 3. The Canucks played really well at times last night, and were the better team for most of the game. But the Ducks were obviously not on top of their game and that will certainly change.
'Luongo is Awesome' ....thank you.
You mean Luoungo is Awful...as in last nights game (game 3)...Someone please tell him that he is not TURCO, and he can't handle the puck...He should have an assist on the Ducks first goal...Like primary assist on the goal.
