Like everyone else, I’ll give my predictions for this upcoming 2nd playoff round of the greatest sport on planet earth. Let me get one thing off my chest before we start. Goalies will make and break everyone of these matchups, and are MY key to who I think wins each series.

Pens vs Caps:
Everyone sees Ovechkin and thinks this one is gonna be close. I look at this way: Varlomov gets exposed as a 20 year old goalie with no NHL playoff experience. You don’t count the Rangers as playoff experience do you?? Fluery is just as good as Henrik, and the Pens offense are miles above the Rangers, no comparison. Pens in 6.

Bruins vs Canes:
I feel bad for Cam Ward already. Bruins in 4.

Ducks vs Wings:
This is gonna be one I’ll be focusing on. You’ve got Osgood who hasn’t had the best season to say the least and Hiller who has shown that he starts over a current All Star. Those are the two keys to the series. Hiller will have to shine in this series, which I think he’ll do, but it won’t be enough.
Wings in 6

Blackhawks vs Canucks:
I’ve been catching a lot of flack from Canucks fans for my prediction on this series. They take it so personally. Luongo vs Bulin is unreal, awesome. I just don’t think Vancouver has that pop in their offense to matchup with Chicago. I think Chicago’s young players are playing with such confidence at this point (and I think its due to Bulin) that they will take over this series again. Blackhawks in 6.

except bulin hasn't beaten the canucks since 1998. Vancouver has his number big time. I just don't see luongo losing game 7 which I think this series is headed. Van in 7

The Canucks are pretty tough also, have some big boys on the Blue.I saw the Hawks play fast hockey, but the Flames roughed them up a bit in front of Bulin. It's a tough one to predict, you have to give the edge to Vancouver. As for the Pens/Caps series - let's hope it's run and gun - we should see some creative hockey in this series.

Not to ruffle the feathers but it is Varlamov. And he is 21 as of April 27th. Just saying.
