The Detroit Red Wings posted their projected lines on their website. They are as follows:
Hirose-Rasmussen-Svechnikov
Elson-Pearson-Puempel
Terry-Turgeon-FordrnGlendening-DeLaRose-Ehn
Nemeth-Hronek
Cholowski-Bowey
Hicketts-Mcllrath
What to watch for (personally) - injuries. Svechnikov needs a reclamation year. Rasmussen as well. Pearson has a decent shot. Look for how well the D (or how poorly) move the puck and gap up. The D list is full of projects. Can Bowey be the player he was projected to be? Can Cholowski get on track? Will Hronek be better or worse. I do like pairing him with Nemeth. Hicketts is a powder keg and he can skate. Mcllrath is a former first rounder that never found his way. rnrnThis may be an awful game. Our bottom line is a respectable 4th line for face offs and grinding. No other line (at this point) could hold that place in the NHL. For things to go well guys need to have developed and be hungry and start on time. Just in case, keep some Aleve handy.
