Flyers Preview- 11/26/08

The Flyers look to win their sixth consecutive game as they take on the Hurricanes in Carolina tonight. In my opinion, I think this is going to be a fiesty type of game. The main reason why is that these two teams play each other in a home at home series starting tonight, and the 2nd game of the home at home on Friday, and as we have seen in the past, what happens in the first game will carry on to the second game. For the Flyers, they are coming off a big 4-3 win over the Stars on Monday night. The Hurricanes are coming off of a beatdown loss against the Preds, 5-2 on Sunday. The key for the Flyers is to get the puck to the net against Cam Ward. Ward is not flashy, and if you can get the puck to the net against him, you can have success. The one player to watch in this game is Jeff Carter. Obviously, he has been on a hot streak lately, and I think he'll continue that tonight. My prediction for this game will be the Flyers winning 4-2. Jeff scores a power play goal, Simon Gagne scores a goal and an assist, and Luca Sbisa will score his first NHL goal. Marty Biron should be in net tonight, and he'll make 29 saves tonight.

Good work again Richie. Two points I'd differ: I think Stevens announced Nitty would be in net tonight, with Marty playing Friday and Saturday. I think tonight is a low-scoring game along the lines of 3-2 with Friday being a nasty and higher-scoring affair.Keep up the good work.

Oh, sorry about that Plots. I figured Marty would start tonight and then Niitty would get a game this weekend. My bad.
