- Big Foppa news this evening. He's apparently narrowed his choices down to one of the following: Steak, chicken, pasta, and veal. Negotiations with seafood were said to have broken off in the past hour, with Sushi dropping out of the contest earlier today. HB user "Zapruder" promises to have video within the hour.

- Did anyone else notice the metal "Clang" sound during Versus' telecasts? I kept waiting to hear Billy Joel break into the opening verses of "Allentown".

- Ryan Shannon was seen working on his next shootout move, in which he skates in from center, tackles the goaltender, gags him, blindfolds him, hog-ties him, puts him in the trunk of an awaiting taxicab, sends the cab to the airport, then taps the puck into the net.

- Charming video Friday night of Blues' goaltender Manny Legace barfing into a bucket at the Blues bench. Needless to say I avoided all Blues auctions on eBay for five days afterwards....

- Purse-Snatching..... Really.... What excuse did they offer?? "My nose was shiny"?? "I was never able to afford Prada"???? (Thanks, jprobber)

- Bettors were shocked that Vinny Prospal sported no new cuts or bruises after his roughest night of the season -- a 45-minute closed-door meeting with John Tortorella...

- Inspired by Andrew Ladd's goal, Eklund reports that 2 Carolina Hurricanes' Scouts were at Emirates Stadium in London taking in Arsenal's EPL match with Blackburn Rovers.

Nothing against Canada. I love the country. Lived there for a while. But . . . If you're an American, spell "rumor" like one. Please. Two Canadian-wannabes on this site are two too many.

Good stuff. The "-our" word endings are primarily British, not Canadian. Actually throughout the Commonwealth, most words are spelled in the British way. It has nothing to do with Canada, nor Canadian wanna-bes.

Mike Myers is the perfect Leafs fan: A joke of a team for a joke of an actor

Another shot at Toronto: If teams like Atlanta and St Louis, who are struggling to make the playoffs, plan on raising ticket prices, while Dallas and Detroit, who are a clinch to make the playoffs, are lowering ticket prices, One can only wonder how much a Leafs game is gonna set your average Joe back....$100 for beer? $300 for a foam finger?

On that $300 foam finger, which finger is raised? ;-)

Almost missed this blog BF. Good fun as always.

Regarding the raised finger, I don't know which one it is, but I feel certain it is not the index finger representing number one. :-)
