Perhaps it's because I'm getting older, but it seems to me the Playoffs get better and better each year. Yet, in the United States... hockey is invisible. It's a scourge on our nation that must be eradicated.
Thankfully, I have a plan.
We all have those friends that are huge sports fans, but that don't follow hockey. These poor souls are the targets. This Saturday, get a bunch of guys together to watch a game -- not just your hockey-watchin' buddies, but get the all-sports-except-hockey guys too. Tell 'em there'll be beer and pizza, it won't be too hard. Doesn't matter which game, tho I suggest the NBC Penguins/Senators game. Make it a fun atmosphere -- act like you're at the game. Answer any questions, but don't treat them like idiots either. Just let them enjoy and take in what they see.
The speed, skill, and intensity of this game is infectious -- you already know that by your mere presence at this site. START INFECTING PEOPLE!!!
