Looking Ahead (already) to Next Season's Sabres Lineup.

The Rangers have NO chance. In addition to the Sabres being the overall superior team in every facet of the game, this series is a terrible match up for the Rangers. Sabres in 5 at most.
Since I’m confident that round two is “in the bag” already… Let’s spend a little time looking forward to next season. Here’s how I think the line up will look on opening night next year.
Pomenville – Connolly - Kotalik (Connolly will end up with 60 + assists by feeding these two snipers)
Vanek - Roy - Stafford (already proven this combination can click)
Hecht - Drury – Afinegenov (A little bit of everything on this line)
Mair –Gaustad – Zubrus (The Legion of Boom)
Lydman – Tallinder
Campbell - Spacek
Kalinin – Paetsch
Perhaps they trade Spacek and pick up UFA defenseman.
By this account, Sabres would need to sign UFA;s Drury, Zubrus, Mair and RFA Vanek.
Smells like another cup run! Thoughts? Post your lineups too!

Yawn.
I think you need to give the Rangers a bit more respect...they aren't going down without a good fight.I also think the lines you have there look pretty good, but I'm not sure about the combination of Kotalik and Pomminville on the 1st line...not much chemistry there I don't feel.
Put Al on the third line and Max on the first. You give Kotalik's offensive abilities too much credit. Also, while I do believe the Sabres will beat the Rangers, the playoffs last more than two rounds.
I hope they resign Numminen and can Spacek, and use that 3 mil to help sign Drury/Briere/Zubrus/Vanek. Paetsch will be our 6th Dman next season. Our Defensive depth in Roch. is good now with the additions of Timo and Mikko, and will get better as Funk, Sekera, and Card mature.
