Hey guys . . .
Believe it or not nobody from Toronto is going to come to the HSBC wearing white gloves and carrying the Stanley Cup just because you won the 1st game of the series 5-2.
Believe it or not the Rangers didn't expect your team to roll over like dogs and aren't demoralized from one loss.
Believe it or not they actually intend on showing up at 7pm tonight for the faceoff of game 2.
Believe it or not you shouldn't be worrying about who you might play in the Conference Finals, you might actually be watching on TV.
Believe it or not when Jagr said, "Let’s just give them the Cup. If I had it with me, I’d hand it to them", he was being sarcastic. Similar to when I say I can't wait to visit your beautiful city.
It may be a long series Buffaloanians or is it Buffaloites or it may be a quick one, but I do know the game on Wednesday night wasn't the only game to be played.
If your team is lucky enough to win 3 more you can worry about match ups in the Conference Finals until then remember you still live in Buffalo and for that you will always be . . . oh forget about it.
Just Drop The Damn Puck Already.
who are you talking to?I seriously wish you guys would stop grouping the bandwagoners who don't understand what it takes to win a cup with true fans who have been around the game and know it takes more than just a game 1 win in the quarters to win the cup.
I'm talking to those that have blogs here on HockeyBuzz, Cleon_Doskalakis, the 1st sentence of the blog is "The Rangers have NO chance". Also to some who write in your local papers, yes you John Vogl, no John the Rangers don't feel sorry for themselves. And pretty much everyone I went to school with from Western NY.
It's a mismatch gamma! We'll see it again clearly in game 2.
I'm surprised you Sabre fans aren't mapping out the parade route, maybe you can use the one the Bills used. This reminds me of 1994 sitting in the Brendan Byrne Arena's Upper Deck. I went to the game with a buddy I worked with, who is an Islander fan, his brother another Islander fan and another Ranger fan. Well during the 1st and 2nd intermission I had to listen to the brothers discuss the match ups between the Devils and the 'Nucks in the Stanley Cup Finals. Needless to say they never got the opportunity to see those in action. It's a series not one and done.
Let's talk hockey already! Enough verbal potshots over absolutely nothing.
As Mills Lane used to say "Let's Get It On"! Here's to a good game and then 36 hours more of trash talk.
good game, the Rangers showed the aren't totally mismatched here. I can totally see why Gamma made this post though I'm sick of reading stuff from BRE fans... lol
Well... that looks like about as good as the Rangers can play... Still can't pull it off.
Good game - Rangers played well - couldn't quite get the split, but should be a couple of good games in NYC. Looks like I might just get to go to another game this series if the Rangers keep this up.
you are done gamma. and since you're from that garbage dump long island i really wouldn't be talking about any other cities. i have never experienced a worse place in my life. buffalo doesn't want you to visit here anyway. we have enough of your kind at UB we don't need anymore bringing down our beautiful and vibrant city.
they aren't coming from toronto to buffalo, but a whole lot of buffalo is coming here to see the cup
sour grapes, gamma?,,,,,,it's too bad you guys who write in support of the Blueshirts can't go out and play FOR them; y'all have waaayyyy more heart and belief than the team you so proudly back.....get used to this phrase; "IT'S MILLER TIME!!!!"......
And on top of everything said here... there is NO way that a team that has Jaromir Jagr wearing the "C" will ever win a cup. He is the prototypical overpaid wuss. Did you see him come off the ice at the end of the period two? Just pathetic.
1. Cross into Canada at Niagara Falls or Fort Erie bridge.2. Take the QEW east to Toronto.3. Continue east onto the Gardiner Expressway.4. Get off at the Yonge Street exit.5. Go north on Yonge Street to Front Street. That's the only way to get to see the Cup today, as Yogi said it ain't over 'til it's over and Buffalo it ain't over and the Cup is a long way away, unless you want to visit the HHOF.
