i think the west could end up exactly as you put it, but it could very easily be the bottom 4 that move to the second round. vancouver obviously has countless struggles in the past, detroits hurt, quick and rinne are great. i dont think buffalo could make it through washington or boston but i like the wishful thinking

I really think this is Vancouver's year to shine. With their D getting healthy in time for the playoffs and all the offensive weapons they have they will be tough to beat. I forgot about Zetterberg's injury, so that will hurt the wings chances. I think Buffalo's chances hinge on how many odd man rushes they give up. If they don't hang Miller out to dry they could go far.
