There you go Newman... Feaster proved you wrong about the signing: We gave up nothing to get to Morrison and were able to deal him for an asset... so we go connelly for nothing really... and you are against that? Why?... The morrison signing was actually a good move because it allowed us to bolster org depth... don't understand why you would oppose a low risk/high reward signing like that.

Could be a reason that guys were getting healthy and they need to move some salary out - getting Cammalleri and dealing Bourque caused the Flames to pick up 2.7M in extra cap space
It is a good trade by the flames now they can let younger guys vie for playing instead of using older players
