The Calgary Flames lost their fifth game in a row on Saturday afternoon in Dallas 4-1.
The season is all but over.
What's the problem though and why did they go on this slide?
In my opinion, it's a losing mentality that's ingrained in the dressing room starting with the coach.

its because they've relied too heavily on their goaltender for too long.
goalie not clutch, rest of the team old bunch of pensioners cashing cheques
jbo for getzlaf next year
why would they trade for JBO?, they have fowler
Goalie not clutch? That's like saying Edmonton is a great place to live. Neither statement is close to correct.
kipper is an elite clutch goalie... even at his age... maybe less games would improve things
They can win 6 straight and hope the others beat eachother up. 95 pts is a sim but real possibility. Keep the faith, go Flames go
Screw faith...it`s time for the captain to leave.
I think Feaster should get the chance to stay and see through at least one full season.. for the first time in a long time the GM has cap space to try to pull something off... Can't remember seeing so many young players in the lineup on a nightly basis
I think Feaster and Goulet have us heading in the right direction... look at Goulet's record since he was hired: our 2010/2011 mid round pick (Reinhart/Gaudreau/Ramage etc) already have a potential surpassing 2008-2009 prospects (Nemisz/Howse etc) - Although Sutter's last couple of drafts do have thier bright spots: Brodie/Bouma
Great old school 80s game. 5 more like that and we got a shot. Go flames go
